Kemaman by-election: EC sets Dec 2 as polling day, nominations on Nov 18

Posing as a 16-year-old, a man befriended a 12-year-old girl on Instagram, and subsequently persuaded her to meet him on four occasions, where he engaged in sexual acts with her.

Its chairman Tan Sri Abdul Ghani Salleh also announced on Tuesday that nominations will take place on Nov 18 while early voting will be on Nov 28.On Sept 26, the Terengganu Election Court annulled the victory of former MP Che Alias Hamid, who represented PAS in the 15th General Election.

Judge Dautk Anslem Charles Fernandis had ruled that there were elements of corruption involved during the Kemaman polls in GE15.
