Kelantan are now allowed to sign new players for the second half of their Super League campaign.

Kelantan team owner Norizam Tukiman shared on his social media account regarding an email from the Football Association of Malaysia , which stated that the players’ registration ban on them has been lifted.

This came after the Red Warriors made salary payments for three cases under the National Dispute Resolution Chamber.“The cases have been resolved after full payment has been fully received by the complainers. Therefore, the order banning the registration of local and international players against Kelantan is withdrawn immediately by FAM,” said the letter sent to the club.

The First Instance Body handed Kelantan a mid-season transfer ban on Monday after the latter failed to submit statements of players’ and coaches’ salaries and contributions to the Employees Provident Fund for April and May. However, their woes are not over yet as Kelantan still have unresolved issue with former South Korean coach Choi Moon-sik. The South Korean coach was removed after only four months with the team in April and he later filed an unfair dismissal case to the world governing body FIFA.

His agent Jeong Myeong-ho yesterday claimed on social media that Moon-sik has won the case against Kelantan, thanking FIFA for looking into the issue. The Red Warriors, who are lying at the bottom of the Super League, have now signed Argentine Angel Alfredo Vera as their third coach for the season.
