THE support received by Amanah from Umno divisional leaders in Kelantan has been very encouraging, Kelantan Amanah election director Wan Abd Rahim Wan Abdullah said. He said the presence of many state Umno division leaders at Amanah programmes has made an impact, especially where cooperation and unity between both parties are concerned.
“Their presence has lifted spirits in the Amanah camp, which is seen as still making inroads in several divisions in Kelantan,” he told reporters in Kota Baru today. He hoped the cooperation between parties in the unity government can be further boosted to secure a win in the upcoming state elections as the people were frustrated with the way the state was being run by the current PAS-led government. – Bernama, July 27, 2023.
