Katherine Ryan stranded on unmoored barge in Birmingham canal as Joe Lycett's new show LateNightLycett descends into chaos
Viewers were left in stitches as they watched the boat that Katherine Ryan had been stranded on floating down the canal.
As he was talking to the other guests, which included Dame Joanna Lumley, 76, Alan Carr, 46, and Alison Hammond, 48, Joe was told through his earpiece what was happening with Katherine, quickly diverting viewers to watch the scenes unfold. However, everything seem to have turned out fine in the end, as Katherine was up at half past six on Saturday morning, making a video on Instagram Story with baby Fenna Grace.Still wearing the makeup from the night before, she added: "I have a rule that you should never sleep in makeup. And now I have a new rule that you should never drift down a Birmingham canal on a runaway barge when you're supposed to be appearing live on your friend's new Channel 4 show.
