The Princess of Wales wore an extra special family heirloom to mark Commonwealth Day celebrations at Westminster Abbey on Monday.
The Princess of Wales wore Diana’s sapphire and diamond double-drop earrings during the service, held on the second Monday of March each year to mark Commonwealth Day.

During the ceremony, King Charles paid tribute to his late mother Queen Elizabeth II while addressing Commonwealth leaders from 56 countries, including Australia’s high commissioner Stephen Smith.
Charles used the service on Monday to not only reiterate the benefits of the Commonwealth as a “force for good” but also to highlight environmental and social causes.
