MANILA, Philippines — The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas on Wednesday wished Kai Sotto well, after it was revealed he tore his ACL.Sotto's injury will keep him out of the lineup for his Japanese B. League team and Gilas Pilipinas for six months.'The Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas wishes Kai Sotto a speedy recovery. Even though it is always a tough challenge to recover from an ACL injury, we're confident that Kai will be back stronger and better than ever,' the SBP wrote.

'The SBP family will be here to provide any support that Kai should need.'On his Instagram post, several players, including Gilas teammate June Mar Fajardo, Ray Parks, AJ Edu (who is also injured), Gabe Norwood, SJ Belangel, Chris Newsome, and Gilas manager Richard del Rosario sent their support to Sotto, wishing him the best in recovery.Green Bones actor Ruru Madrid also sent his well-wishes.'I just want to tell you that I know you're going through a tough time right now, but I hope this will serve as motivation for you to work harder despite what happened to you. Always remember, nothing is impossible. As long as you love what you're doing and believe that the Father has something planned for you, even if it's impossible, He will make it possible,' Madrid told Sotto in Filipino.'We believe in you. Keep fighting, we're here to support you and we're waiting for you to come back stronger and to fulfill all your dreams for yourself and the honor of our country,' he added.'You will get through this brother!
