Proceeds from the Sault Ste. Marie plant sale support beautification efforts across the city
This Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon, the Sault Ste. Marie Horticultural Society will host its plant sale at the Parks Canada Canal greenhouse. The greenhouse is located near the Superintendent’s House, just past the Parks Canada main office.
Horticultural Society members will be on-hand to answer questions and provide membership information to those interested in joining. “We are looking forward to this event, there are a lot of great volunteers this year and our membership keeps growing!” says Andrea Aubertin, president of the Sault Ste. Marie Horticultural Society, in the release. “We are excited that there has been a revitalized interest in gardening in these past few years.”
