“Jump Rope Challenge” offers an opportunity to take on a sporting challenge, either alone or as part of a group, from the comfort of your own home. A group of developers at Nintendo came up with the idea for the new software while teleworking during the recent lockdown in Japan. In a bid to avoid spending too much time sitting down, the group put together this simple and highly amusing game to stay in shape.Putting an end to excuses about not being able to take exercise at home, “Jump Rope Challenge”, which is freely available from Nintendo’s online store until Sept.

The basic principle is that users must complete 100 jumps a day, a number that can be scaled up as part of a challenge between friends, family or colleagues. Although you do not need a real jump rope to take part in the game, you will need a pair of Switch Joy-Con controllers that function as virtual jump-rope handles.
