: Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan menyita 45 motosikal dalam Ops Khas Motosikal di Lebuh Raya Lingkaran Luar Butterworth di sini, yang bermula awal hari ini.

Beliau berkata operasi dijalankan di kawasan itu selepas pihaknya menerima banyak aduan daripada orang ramai berkaitan kegiatan lumba haram. Menurut Lokman, hasil pemeriksaan mendapati kesemua yang terlibat dalam lumba haram itu berusia 15 hingga 30 tahun malah ada dalam kalangan mereka sanggup berbelanja RM1,000 hingga RM5,000 untuk mengubah suai motosikal.

Dalam operasi sama, seorang gadis turut merayu kepada pihak JPJ agar tidak menyita motosikal Yamaha Y15 milik teman lelakinya yang ditunggangnya tanpa lesen, kerana dia menunggang motosikal tersebut tanpa pengetahuan lelaki itu yang sedang menghadiri acara permotoran di Terengganu.
