A new book will hit the shelves today, celebrating images of Sydney from an age gone by. It's called Retro Sydney. It's a collection of images adapted from a popular Instagram account celebrating the iconic sights across Sydney between 1950 and 2000. Author of 'Retro Sydney,' Nathan Mete, says he began the page during the pandemic, noting, 'I started the page back in July 2020 in COVID' and describing it as 'just a passion project.' While going through old archives, he thought, 'this would be a great idea to make into an Instagram page,' and added that its popularity 'just sort of snowballed.'
