Filipino designer Jot Losa's 15th-anniversary collection, Pangako, is a personal ode to his childhood memories and the timeless beauty of generational treasures.
STORYTELLING through fashion reflects a designer's emotions, inspirations and dreams. For Filipino designer Jot Losa , his 15th-anniversary collection, Pangako, weaves a personal narrative rooted in childhood memories and a vibrant future. 'This collection reflects my childhood spent at my grandmother's home — the scent of Sampaguita, elegant lace curtains, and heirlooms,' shares Losa.
Each piece pays homage to floral patterns stitched by his grandmother and the timeless beauty of generational treasures. Inspired by the Sampaguita flower, the collection blends nostalgia with modernity, featuring whites, earthy tones, and lush greens. Sheer fabrics, feathers, fringe, and 3D necklines are balanced with structured denim, with Sampaguita appliqués adding delicate detail. Marking an evolution for his brand, Pangako nods to classic beauty while embracing a contemporary presence. 'This isn't just a collection; it's a celebration of my journey and growth,' Losa explains. Showcasing 42 looks in San Juan on Dec. 6, his first solo hometown show is deeply meaningful. Follow @jotlosa on Instagram and @jotlosa.fashion on Facebook, or visit his boutique in San Juan City
