When the club updated Norris’ status in November, Dorion noted that surgery hadn’t been completely ruled out but because one of the specialists suggested he didn’t need to go under the knife, the decision was made to go this route. “We’re competitors and we want to get back and we want to get out there as soon as we can.” Pinto said. “I think you’ve got to try the rehab route first. That’s what I did. That’s what he did. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out but I think you have to try.The players feel for Norris because they know how hard he worked to get back. He spent long hours on the ice and in the gym getting ready for his return.
