Johor peruntuk hampir RM500,000 pasang WiFi di 160 masjid, surau
JOHOR BAHRU: Kerajaan negeri memperuntukkan sebanyak RM470,404 untuk menyediakan kemudahan WiFi secara percuma di 127 masjid dan 33 surau pada tahun ini.
“Kerajaan negeri berharap pelaksanaan inisiatif itu dapat menarik lebih ramai masyarakat untuk mendekati masjid bukan sahaja bagi mengerjakan solat, malah juga sebagai tempat rujukan dalam menuntut ilmu. “Walau bagaimanapun, kita juga harap inisiatif ini tidak disalahgunakan untuk perkara memudaratkan. Tok kadi kena monitor. Jangan guna untuk tengok Netflix,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan, di sini hari ini.
Setakat Rabu lalu, ahli kariah di 19 masjid dan surau telah mendapat manfaat tersebut apabila kerja pemasangan berjaya disiapkan.
