Prakazrel ‘Pras’ Michel menyifatkan USD20 juta yang diberikan Jho Low adalah ‘wang percuma’ yang boleh digunakannya sesuka hati.
Michel berdepan dakwaan konspirasi jenayah, melobi pengaruh asing dan mengenakan bayaran kempen kerana dipercayai berkomplot dengan Low untuk cuba mempengaruhi pentadbiran Obama dan bekas presiden, Donald Trump. “Apabila anda menerima wang daripada Jho Low, anda menggunakannya untuk membuat sumbangan politik,” tanya Pendakwa Raya Persekutuan, John Keller.
Michel dituduh bersubahat dengan Low dalam tiga skim, dengan pendakwa raya mendakwa dia dibayar berjuta-juta dolar.
