in May with more cancellations and delays than any of its rivals, though the sector overall significantly improved its performance compared with 2022.

Jetstar chief executive Stephanie Tully said that while the airline had “more work to do” to improve reliability, it was starting to turn a corner.Nearly 40 per cent of Jetstar’s flights for the month departed late and more than 35 per cent arrived late, compared with 26.1 per cent and 26 per cent respectively for the sector.
