Jeremy Clarkson triggered outrage after he wrote that he dreamed about Meghan Markle being paraded naked through the streets and wanted to see people 'throw lumps of excrement at her'.
British TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson has declared he is"horrified to have caused so much hurt" after a controversial newspaper column he wrote about Meghan Markle sparked widespread backlash.
The column has sparked more than 12,000 complaints to the press regulator, and has drawn criticism from public figures, as well as from Clarkson's own daughter, Emily. "In a column I wrote about Meghan, I made a clumsy reference to a scene in Game of Thrones and this has gone down badly with a great many people," he saidon Monday. British TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson said he was"horrified to have caused so much hurt".
Clarkson said in the column he had felt sympathy for Prince Harry but felt differently about the California-born Duchess.
