New ASP executive director Jeff Loder has held various roles in the public and private sectors and has overseen complex negotiations, including negotiating duty-free access for N.L. seafood in European and international markets.

Loder said he looks forward to working with association members to tackle challenges and grow the industry.

“It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to contribute to the fishery in Newfoundland and Labrador and to represent seafood producers," said Loder. Loder's appointment comes after former association executive director Derek Butler announced in the fall that he wasIt has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
