Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher watched on as the Reds lost 2-0 to Everton to put a severe dent in their Premier League title hopes
Jamie Carragher has admitted he does not think Liverpool are that good a team after their Premier League title hopes were left in tatters by Everton on Wednesday night.
"I actually think this season, I would say in the last six to eight weeks when you are talking of the top three going for the title, it's almost been a hope rather than a belief. I don’t feel, certainly this season from August to now, that I have been watching a title-winning team. "Even though I am gutted they lost tonight and the title has gone, I am finding it too hard to be critical because the team and the quality of the players they have got, they have overperformed in some ways this season and they are not quite good enough. When it comes to the crunch, they have come up a little short."
