Seksyen Penguatkuasaan Halal Jais bersama Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat melakukan pemeriksaan di sebuah pasar raya di Bukit Changgang, Banting.
Pengarah Jais Mohd Shahzihan Ahmad berkata pengesahan itu diperoleh selepas pihaknya melalui Seksyen Penguatkuasaan Halal bersama Majlis Perbandaran Kuala Langat melakukan pemeriksaan di premis terbabit semalam. “Siasatan dan tindakan lanjut dibuat mengikut Perintah Perihal Dagangan 2011, sabit kesalahan boleh didenda sehingga RM100,000 atau penjara maksimum tiga tahun atau kedua-duanya manakala hukuman bagi suatu pertubuhan perbadanan ialah denda tidak melebihi RM200,000,” menurutnya dalam kenyataan.
