Emmerdale's Nate Robinson has departed the much-loved ITV soap
Jurell Carter, who played the role of Nate Robinson in Emmerdale for nearly half a decade, has announced he will be stepping back from the show. Nate's storyline came to a head on Friday with a brutal confrontation involving his father Cain Dingle after Nate faced accusations of cheating with Moira once more. The twist came when it transpired that it was actually his stepmother who attempted to lay a kiss on him, at a time when Moira was grappling with her deteriorating health.
But I feel like I've reached the point where it's now or never, in a sense that if I don't do it now I'll... not live to regret it, but always be wondering 'what if? ' I just didn't want that feeling. I feel like five years is the perfect time for me as an actor to try and move onto something else.' As Nate bids farewell to Emmerdale for a fresh start, Jurell shed light on his character's motivations. He said: 'I think he's just devastated.
