William Boswarva allegedly tried to pressure the woman into having an abortion before cutting off communication
William Boswarva, of Valley Close, Crosby, allegedly tried to pressure the woman into having an abortion and told her he wanted "nothing to do" with the baby before cutting contact. The 29-year-old had allegedly had a one night stand with the woman and discovered she was pregnant when she later uploaded an early scan to Instagram.
The woman chose to continue the pregnancy and gave birth to a baby boy. Afterwards, the woman applied to the Child Maintenance Service for child support, a payment made from a non-custodial parent to the custodial parent as a contribution to ongoing childcare. But Boswarva denied he was the father and requested a DNA test, which was arranged at the Crosby medical centre.
She said: " provided ID in the name William Boswarva and had sample of saliva taken from inside the mouth. The sample was sealed up, stored in a locked office and then sent in the post that evening to the lab. He was the only one to have an appointment for a DNA test that day.
