Environment Canada has issued a few weather advisories for this area

A fog advisory for the district was issued by Environment Canada early this morning.

Locally dense fog has developed. With temperatures below the freezing mark, the fog may deposit ice onto untreated surfaces. Some roads and walkways may become slippery as a result. Fog is expected to lift late this morning. Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.Snow will begin this afternoon and may become mixed with ice pellets at times through this evening, potentially reducing accumulations. Snow will taper in intensity Friday morning.

Environment Canada said that the snow will be at times heavy, with total accumulations of 15 to 20 centimetres. Peak snowfall rates will be one to three centimetres per hour. Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
