An Israeli defence official has issued a stark warning every building in Gaza,  which is home to more than two million Palestinians, will be destroyed in a “ground manoeuvre” that will surprise Hamas.

The unnamed official told the Israel’s Channel 13 the region will be reduced to a"city of tents" after the Palestinian terror group launched a deadly attack on the Jewish state.
