PETALING JAYA: The police took action against 508 individuals on Tuesday (Oct 27) for violating the various movement control orders (MCO), with the most number of offenders in Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Sabah, says Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The Senior Minister said that 192 of the offences took place in Kuala Lumpur, 155 in Selangor, and 36 in Sabah.The violations included not wearing face masks , failure to provide check-in facilities for customers , not observing physical distancing , operating premises beyond allowed hours , entertainment outlets and 95 for other violations.
Altogether, the taskforce monitoring SOP compliance, spearheaded by the police, conducted 52,327 checks all over the country, said Ismail.
