Charles Perrottet, brother of former New South Wales premier Dominic Perrottet, has had his home raided by the Independent Commission Against Corruption, along with at least five other Liberal Party members.

“The Liberal Party is supposed to be having a look at this, the police are sniffing around at the edge of it, I think this is exactly the sort of thing that needs to go to ICAC,” The Australian’s Legal Affairs Contributor Chris Merritt said.

The persons involved were raided on allegations they held secure, lucrative, council projects for controversial Sydney property developer Jean Nassif and helped to appoint councillors to the local council who would pass decisions favourably for Mr Nassif. “I’m really glad this is going to ICAC, there’s been a very ineffective parliamentary inquiry, a brief look into this.” Mr Merritt told Sky News Australia host Sharri Markson.Read More
