The Cape Breton West High School Hockey League recently announced its annual award winners for the 2022-23 season. CONTRIBUTEDMABOU, N.S. — Blake MacDonnell claimed the highest honour in the Cape Breton West High School Hockey League.
Meanwhile, Ben Madden of the Strait Area Education Centre Saints was presented with the most valuable defenceman award. His regular-season statistics were not available. In the crease, Allan Chiasson of Inverness/CBHA picked up the top goaltender in the league. He finished the season with a 5-4-1-0 record with one shutout and a 2.09 goals-against average in 10 games.
