'Burnaby Minor Lacrosse is excited to be back introducing our Burnaby children to basic lacrosse skills.'
After a three-year break due to the pandemic, Burnaby Minor Lacrosse has announced its introduction to lacrosse program is returning in 2023.
The 45-minute sessions will begin on Feb. 3 at Edmonds School Gym on Friday nights and Saturday afternoons. Saturday sessions are scheduled for Feb. 4, 11, 18 and March 4 with start times of 12:45 p.m. or 1:45 p.m. Burnaby Minor Lacrosse says the sessions are suitable for boys and girls born between 2014 and 2018. "After 3 years away due to Covid, Burnaby Minor Lacrosse is excited to be back introducing our Burnaby children to basic lacrosse skills with our Intro to Lacrosse program in a gym setting!," Burnaby Minor Lacrosse first VP Susan Kirkby told the NOW.
"We're thrilled we can now offer a regular season of spring box lacrosse as well, with weekly practices and games happening from April to July 2023! Intro to Lacrosse is a great way for children to try lacrosse before the start of the regular season."
