International Women’s Day is a chance to put forward some “home truths” and women can examine data pushed into the political sphere around the gender pay gap and how it is not a useful measure, says Sky News host Amanda Stoker.
“It just adds up all the women’s money, all of the men’s money and divides it by the number of men and women there are,” Ms Stoker told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“Rather than reflecting the reality of women’s choices, and the value and the dignity in the choices that women have.”
