Interfaith council calls out ‘divisive’ Dr Mahathir

FORMER prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad, who declared that Malay leaders who espouse multiracialism will not concentrate on solving Malay issues, is being divisive and racist, an interfaith group said. The Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Sikhism and Taoism was referring to a viral poster promoting the Proklamasi Orang Melayu gathering this weekend where Dr Mahathir is the guest of honour.
