An Indigenous woman has said elected leaders should be the voices representing First Nations Australians, rather than a Voice to Parliament.
Noongar woman Janetia Knapp told Sky News Australia she is opposing the upcoming referendum due to the divide it has created.
Ms Knapp said she has “absolutely” noticed a divide in debates between Indigenous people living in urban communities and those in remote parts of Australia.
