KUALA LUMPUR: India looks forward to working closely with Malaysia for its active participation in the implementation of India’s Indo-Pacific vision, the Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative (IPOI).
said Malaysia, a founding member of Asean and one of the most dynamic economies in the region, has the potential to further advance the role of India-Asean in the Indo-Pacific.
"With the deliberations during the conference today, I am confident IPOI would contribute in elaborating further on India-Asean dynamics in the emerging Indo-Pacific order, and also on the role of Malaysia in advancing it.” The minister pointed out that both nations are participating countries in the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework , launched in May last year, with India committed towards building resilient supply chains and a fair economy to spur further growth in the region.
