ARAU: The marketability of technical and vocational education and training (TVET) graduates under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development must be increased from the current rate of 90%, says Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

"This is what we want to prove to the community, that the investment made by the government through TVET, especially under KKDW, will give good results," he said while speaking at the KKDW Santunan Kasih Ramadan programme here on Wednesday . He said many technocrats from developed countries such as Germany, Japan, South Korea and the United States also came from the TVET field, adding that the community should be aware of the importance of TVET and that the field should not be the second option for students who do not excel in academics.
