KOTA KINABALU: A call has been made to the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah-led state government to include Pakatan Harapan (PH) in positions at village, state constituency or government-linked company (GLC) levels in Sabah.
PKR state leadership council deputy chairman Sazalye Donol said they believed their involvement in administration at the state-level will strengthen the Sabah government’s stability.“Sabah PH has previously announced support towards Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor as Chief Minister until the end of term in 2025.
“I am thus suggesting to the state government that positions at the levels of village, state constituency and such can be reset where distribution can be based on quotas, or have additional posts to allow the involvement of all political parties,” he said in a statement on Wednesday . Sazalye, who is also PKR Kota Marudu branch chief, said as of now, there was no clear indication whether PH members were offered any of the said posts.
