WE write on behalf of the Iglesia ni Cristo in relation to the article 'The right to impeach' by Francisco S. Tatad, published on Jan. 3, 2025 .We express our serious concern as the said article contains inaccurate, misleading and derogatory statements which are damaging to INC 's reputation.At the outset, the article falsely describes the upcoming activity of the INC as a 'nationwide political rally' not completely free of ''armed implications.
Contrary to the article's accusations, the rally for peace is not intended to pressure nor undermine any institution but to express the sentiments of the Filipino people for our leaders to unify and promote peace within our country.We also find the article's tone and language as alarmist and contemptuous.
