Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong delivered his National Day Rally 2023 speech on Sunday (Aug 20) at the Institute of Technical Education headquarters in Ang Mo Kio. In his English speech, Mr Lee announced a S$7 billion Majulah Package to help what he called “young seniors” meet their retirement needs. H
e also unveiled various changes to Singapore’s public housing schemes, such as a new Plus category to keep home ownership affordable, and initiatives for singles and the country’s rapidly ageing population.
