In Britain, dysfunction now rules the day

But this leaves a depressing vacuum. Perhaps he will ultimately deliver, but right now it feels as though Britain lacks the political will and wit, and the fiscal wherewithal, to tackle the monumental challenges of the health system, the welfare system, the aged and social care systems, the public transport system, and the education system.
