Solid waste curbside collection has resumed service and will operate on Thursday as well as on Friday, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Solid waste drop off sites will also be open on Friday. Transit is not operating yet, however limited routes with detours are being designed and planned.Regular Transit Cape Breton service is cancelled for Thursday. Handi-Trans is providing service to clients for essential medical appointments that could not be rescheduled.
