ILOILO CITY - The provincial government of Iloilo is now allowing inbound travel of persons from provinces in Western Visayas. Iloilo Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. on Monday issued Executive Order No.

128-F, which lifted the restriction on travel of persons into the province of Iloilo through its borders with the provinces of Capiz, Antique and Negros Occidental.

Residents of the provinces of Guimaras, Capiz, Aklan, Antique, Negros Occidental and Bacolod City are also now allowed to travel to Iloilo. The new executive order amended an earlier order which restricted the travel of persons into the province through its provincial borders until July 15. The whole province is currently under modified general community quarantine, except for Alimodian town, which reverted to the enhanced community quarantine - the strictest lockdown measure imposed by the government to curb the virus spread - after a surge in coronavirus cases in the area.
