During a search at Head Space in Saint John, peace officers with the provincial justice department seized 675.1 grams of dried cannabis, 69.8 grams of hashish, 51 packages of gummies, 17 jars of cannabis shatter, 21 packs of cannabis edibles, 13 distillate cartridges, two vape pens, 11 pre-rolls of cannabis and $1,541.95 in cash. Officers from the Department of Justice and Public Safety executed a search warrant at Head Space located at 36 Main St. West on Sept. 20. During the search, officers seized 675.1 grams of dried cannabis, 69.8 grams of hashish, 51 packages of gummies, 17 jars of cannabis shatter, 21 packs of cannabis edibles, 13 distillate cartridges, two vape pens, 11 pre-rolls of cannabis and $1,541.95 in cash.
The department is reminding residents that only provincially licenced private retail stores and Cannabis N.B. are permitted to sell cannabis in the province.Residents are encouraged to report the trafficking of contraband cannabis, tobacco, or any other criminal matter by calling the Department of Justice and Public Safety at 1-877-826-2122 or through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
