A final report into the former premier is not expected until the second quarter of 2023, after the Independent Commission Against Corruption revealed further delays.

“The Commission and Ms McColl remain conscious of the obligation under section 74 of the ICAC Act to furnish investigation reports as soon as possible after the Commission has concluded its involvement in a matter.”The ICAC said it had received the last of the necessary submissions as late as October 18, insisting the need to ensure that the issues relevant to the investigation are addressed carefully.
Operation Keppel examined whether Berejiklian breached public trust when she awarded grants to several community organisations in the NSW Riverina region between 2012 and 2018. Berejiklian told the inquiry she completely rejected any assertion that her feelings for the man she once loved and hoped to marry affected her duty to the public.
