They're planning on a family trip to Disney.
Langley couple Ralph and Jan Janzen have always dreamed of helping their kids and grandkids if they won the lottery so when they won $1 million in the Oct. 14 Lotto Max draw sharing it with their family was their first instinct.“I thought he was lying to me,” recalls Jan Janzen of hearing the news from her husband.
“I brought reading glasses for her and showed her the winning amount on the Lotto! app,” he says in a media release. The couple purchased the ticket at the Circle-K on 88 Avenue in Langley and say that they feel very fortunate, the experience feels surreal to them. They plan on taking their children and grandchildren to Disneyland to celebrate the win and perhaps a tropical vacation in the winter.
