I’m ready to be probed, Zahid says over ‘conspiracy’ report FMTNews
Deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi claimed that the police report lodged against him and Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was baseless.
The Umno president said he was a “very transparent” person and expressed confidence that the report lodged yesterday was baseless.“They don’t have any other avenue. They want to protect themselves but don’t have the capability to do so, so they lodged a police report,” he said at a press conference here.
Razali accused Anwar of misusing his power by “pressuring” the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission into initiating a probe against Bersatu leaders to tarnish the party’s reputation.
