Victoria Police is officially hiring for the position of top cop. Current Chief Del Manak is looking to retire next year after more than three decades of service to the town he was born and raised in.

For the past seven and a half years, Manak has been the face of Victoria Police. In one year, he’ll be retiring, meaning the “Making sure that we are modernizing the police department, making the changes that we need to make going into 2025 are going to be the key critical things I do. But also supporting the people inside, making sure that they have the necessary mental health services and tools so that they can do the job well is key, critical, for me moving forward,” said Manak.
