Many people are struggling to access to their pension information on their firms app
In my case, I was unable to get a password to log in to the app, which requires a different password to the website. I requested a link to be emailed, as instructed, only not to receive it. But unless these customer service processes are tackled, all the fancy government consultations around the issue will fail, as they are not dealing with the main problem.It’s a passive act – you don’t usually actively deposit money as your employer takes it straight out of your pay packet – which means it easier to forget about.
They would make sure everyone has their pension app downloaded, are logged in and know how to view their money. If they can’t log in, this crack team would do battle with Scottish Widows – or Fidelity, or whoever your provider is – to resolve it.
