King Street in Quinte West is set to close on October 16 to allow Hydro One to complete necessary work in the area.

King St. from First Ave. to Victoria Ave. will be closed to both eastbound and westbound vehicle traffic including local traffic.Access to Trenton Memorial Hospital will be maintained through Spring St. via Victoria Ave. Residents in the area will not have access to their driveways. It is asked that residents park in the parking lot at Trenton High School beginning the previous night until the end of the closure.

As part of the project, a power outage is also scheduled. The outage is expected to begin at 8 a.m. and continue to 2 p.m.Map of the King St. closure set for October 16.
