AUTHORITIES arrested a high-value individual and seized illegal drugs worth around P1.7 million during an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City , the police reported on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Police Colonel Joseph Ian Lofranco, commander of the Special Operations Unit-9, identified the arrested HVI as Ebzar Esmon, 26, a resident of Sinunuc village, Zamboanga City .
on Wednesday, January 8, at Lemon Drive in Baliwasan village, Zamboanga City.Lofranco said Esmon was immediately arrested after handing over five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing substance believed to be shabu in exchange for payment from an undercover policeman.Aside from the suspected shabu, authorities also seized three bundles of boodle money, topped with three genuine P1,000 marked bills, and a sling bag.
