PETALING JAYA: A teenager and his wife have been arrested by police over a viral video of the couple performing a wheelie on a motorcycle in Peringat, Kota Bharu, Kelantan. Kota Bharu police chief Rosdi Daud said they had been looking for the husband and wife, aged 17 and 16, for the past two days.“We will seek a remand order tomorrow for further investigation under Section 42 of the Road Transport Act 1987,” he added.

Rosdi said the couple’s motorcycle stunt along Jalan Pasir Puteh, Peringat, could be considered as endangering themselves and other road users.In the video, the couple, who were not wearing helmets, could be seen performing a wheelie on the motorcycle. They were wearing a light blue baju Melayu and baju kurung in view of the Aidilfitri festive season.
