Warf previously spent 16 years with the Hurricanes in a variety of sales and marketing roles.
The Carolina Hurricanes announced Monday that Doug Ward has been hired as President of Hurricanes Holdings, LLC, and will oversee all business operations for the Hurricanes and PNC Arena, the team’s home rink.

He had previously spent 16 years working for the Hurricanes in various roles, originally joining the team as a sales intern during the 2000-01 season. He worked his way up to vice-president of marketing, a position he held between 2010 and 2017.
“I have always loved how this team and arena play an integral role in strengthening our overall bond as a community. I look forward to working with the talented Hurricanes Holdings team to continue furthering that bond, while also setting the standard for hospitality and entertainment,”Ward also served as the executive director of the Hurricanes Foundation between 2007 and 2017.
