CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — More than 100 people protesting the Community Outreach Centre gathered in front of the Shaw Building in downtown Charlottetown on Oct. 28.

Carol McDonald, a city worker and one of the speakers addressing the crowd, said she doesn't reside near the center but has experienced issues related to it in her downtown workplace. Over a hundred people gathered in front of the Shaw Building, in downtown Charlottetown to protest the outreach centre on Oct. 28. Their goal is ‘to shut the outreach centre and move it somewhere else,’ said one of the protesters.During the Oct. 28 rally, similar issues were raised, including from another protester who said she chased away from her property one of the outreach centre users after he had stripped. Hailey Gallant said it makes her scared for her daughter.
