Huawei has silently launched the Pura 70 series smartphones in Malaysia consisting of Huawei Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Ultra.
Each variant comes in a single RAM and storage configuration. The most affordable option is the Pura 70 priced at RM3,699, followed by the Pura 70 Pro at RM4,899. The feature-packed Pura 70 Ultra comes in at RM6,599.
Pre-orders for the Huawei Pura 70 series are open in Malaysia from May 2nd to May 24th, 2024. Customers can pre-order by placing a non-refundable deposit of RM70 on Huawei Malaysia’s website or at Huawei Experience Stores. Under the hood, the Pura 70 is powered by a Kirin 900S1 chip while the Ultra and Pro model has Huawei’s latest Kirin 9010 chip. They all operate on EMUI 14.2 which replaces HarmonyOS on the Chinese counterparts.
The Pura 70 Pro has a slightly smaller 5,050mAh battery with the same charging support. The standard Pura 70 gets a 4,900mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.
